NVIDIA Earnings Results is OUT!
Hey GoodWhalers! Hope last week was a good one for you!
Last week, I asked a poll on the share price trajectory of Nvidia before it’s earnings. Just want to shout out to the 61 of you awesome people that voted the poll.
Here’s the result and…

24% increase over the past 2 days. Simply WOW!
Nvidia shareholders, I bet you are happy! For the rest of us, let us congratulate them and hope that windows of opportunities present to us (hopefully soon).
Q4 NVIDIA Earnings results – Let’s have a glimpse on it

$18.4 Billion, $2.9 Billion, $463 Million, $281 Million.
These are the revenue generated from Nvidia’s business segments: Data Centers, Gaming, Professional Visualization, and Automotive respectively.
With the bulk coming from Data Centers, it’s no wonder many people are focusing on this segment and it needed carried the whole company’s performance.

Some of the highlights that caught my attention were the collaborations with some big (and a relatively small) players that will increase demand of Nvidia’s Data Center Segment:

Did they just mention Singtel? Singapore? The small little red dot?
I’m just wondering how much sales Singtel is going to buy. Hmmm. Unlike Singtel, the other names mentioned for collaboration and partnerships are heavier-weight companies, and their business will definitely bring in.
That said, looks like Nvidia chose a few things correctly.
- a business model that is relatively lighter than its peers which meant they can translate more revenue generated into profits, and
- Staying relevant and valuable to the technological advancement
